Performance Management : Objectives and Appraisals

INTRODUCTION

The Performance Management course explains that it is an essential component of every organization where people work. Leaders must grasp what is expected of them in terms of performance management as well as how things work in their organization; this is a necessary step in developing a successful performance management culture and procedure.

Performance management should be a continuous cycle that starts with establishing targets and expectations that will be fulfilled or exceeded as a consequence of a proactive approach to working on and delivering what is measured.

Performance may be adequately regulated and monitored when the organization provides enough feedback in the form of coaching and line managers have relevant meaningful discussions with individuals in their team.
