INTRODUCTION

Investor Relations (IR) is the management of communication between a company’s corporate management and its investors. An Investor Relations Manager assists in the dissemination of information, the processing of enquiries and meetings, the provision of feedback to management, and the management of crises. Professionals in investor relations concentrate on the company’s financial community rather than its commercial clients or the broader public.
