INTRODUCTION

Globalization and improvements in information and communication technology have resulted in a 24/7 work environment marked by fast change, increased competitiveness, and an explosion in communication and information access. These demands compound workload and information processing stress, which not only affects performance but may also lead to a loss of meaning and purpose, as well as physical and mental health difficulties. Understanding stress and how to increase your resistance to it are critical abilities for today’s leaders, and they play an important part in handling the challenges you experience at work. This course will focus on the types of pressures that leaders face in today’s workplaces and how to deal with them.
