Be a Strategic Manager

INTRODUCTION

This ‘Be a Strategic Manager’ course combines the important strategic managerial abilities of strategic planning, negotiation, and conflict resolution that are necessary to thrive in today’s complex and tough corporate environment.

‘Strategy,’ as stated in the classic work ‘the art of war,’ is complex, but when understood very simply, those who have a successful strategy control the next events.

The capacity to exert influence and negotiate successfully is frequently required for strategy execution. Negotiation is not the same as lawsuit or war. Negotiation is not about achieving complete victory. Total triumph by one party is usually fleeting. Negotiation and dispute resolution are critical strategic management and leadership abilities that are arguably the most commonly employed in company today.
